Sunday morning, the sun is shining, the birds are singing, my neighbor sets the barbeque on fire and me my brain. My thoughts are wandering. My son uses to say: “Oh I am thinking about this and that!” Pretty unspecific and right in a certain way. Today I am taking you on a little journey.
Be my guest and explore a bit of Berlin with me.
I live in the district of Reinickendorf, a place far in the north of Berlin.
My little place is called Hermsdorf.
Reinickendorf is a very green and beautiful part of Berlin.
Some of you might know Tegel-Airport. This airport is located in Reinickendorf.
Berlin is a huge city with different faces.
There are farms in Berlin, little villages, forests and the liveliness of a metropolitan city.
We are famous for our lakes, rivers and canals.
My favorite customer wanted a logo.
He is principal of a Berlin school “Jean-Krämer-Schule Wittenau”.
That school is based in an old fashioned round-shaped brick building.
A few months ago we had even done a new flyer for the school using the very picture and the color of the bricks. Created a nice effect – the brick red.
After a short briefing on the logo the principal and me knew that we wanted to adapt the shape of the building which was like an arc with two side wings and the red of the building.
But not a dark brick red as we used it before. This time it should be a clear and intensive red. Read the rest of this entry
